A Detroit, Michigan rainy dusk ushered my steps toward the Cadeiux Cafe on a Thursday. Inside, feather bowling league play is taking place. The game is Belgian and often compared to bocci ball, horseshoes and shuffleboard. The Cadeiux Cafe is known as THE home for it in the U.S., making the close-knit, inviting and long-established location even more special. At the end of each feather bowling season, the grand champion will have their portrait created by a fellow feather bowler, who's also a notable courtroom sketch artist, and displayed inside. It's a beautiful game.
