Cindi and Ed John have owned and operated the Treaty Fish Company since the late '80s. They've had to endure a number of challenges in order to sustain the business which provides high-quality, fresh fish to a number of individual customers as well as restaurants. On this day, aboard the more than 45-foot long Linda Sue — named after Cindi's late sister — the couple motor to a location on Grand Traverse Bay, where they'll fish throughout the year except for when the ice prevents it, and set a perch net.
